A shocking incident in Asansol has triggered tension after the blood-soaked body of a tribal youth was recovered early morning from Rai Maidan under the Kanyapur police outpost area. The deceased has been identified as Bishnu Hembram, a resident of Panchgachhia Kapatiya, with the discovery drawing a large crowd from the local tribal community.
Police reached the spot soon after receiving information, cordoned off the area, and began an investigation. The body was later recovered and sent to Asansol District Hospital for post-mortem examination. During the preliminary search, officers found a liquor bottle and multiple plastic glasses at the scene, indicating that the युवक was not alone before the incident.
Based on initial findings, investigators suspect that a dispute may have broken out during a drinking session, possibly leading to the youth's murder.
